Turkey’s stainless flat steel imports rise significantly in July

In July this year, Turkey's stainless flat steel imports saw an increase of 28 percent as compared to July last year, amounting to 41,359 metric tons, according to the data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). This figure indicates a slight month-on-month drop of 1.35 percent.
 
On the other hand, in the first seven months of the current year, Turkey's stainless steel imports totaled 267,250 metric tons, rising by 20.68 percent year on year.
