Turkey’s metal products manufacturing PPI drops 0.55 percent in July

According to the statistics released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in July this year the producer price index (PPI) for Turkey in general decreased by 0.16 percent over June and was up 8.24 percent year on year, while an average rise of 5.33 percent was registered for the latest twelve months.
 
During the given month, the PPI for domestic manufacture of metal products, except machinery, decreased by 0.55 percent over the previous month while transportation vehicle manufacturing sector saw a drop of 7.31 percent.
