Turkey’s Kardemir receives €20 million worth order for railway products from Europe

Turkish long steel producer Kardemir Karabük Demir Çelik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. has announced that it has received export orders worth €20 million for railway products from Europe, as a result of its value-added product and market development activities.

The company’s railway wheel production plant has an annual production capacity of 200,000 wheels. In the first half of this year the capacity utilization rate of the given plant decreased to 10.45 percent from 18.46 percent recorded in the same period of last year.
