Turkey’s HRC exports up 15.1 percent in January-November

In November this year, Turkey's total hot rolled coil (HRC) exports increased by 76.3 percent year on year to 161,851 metric tons, according to the data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). These exports had a value of $68.1 million, up 119.3 percent compared to the same month of the previous year.


 
In the first 11 months of last year, Turkey's HRC exports amounted to 1.53 million mt, up 15.1 percent, while the value of these exports increased by 4.11 percent to $591 million, both compared to the same period of 2015.
 
In the first 11 months of last year, Italy ranked first among Turkey's HRC export destinations, with its HRC imports from Turkey amounting to 291,764 mt, followed by Spain which received 245,432 mt of HRC from Turkey in the given period.
