Fuat Tosyalı, chairman of Turkish steelmaker Tosyali Holding, has said that in the first ten months of 2017 the value of Tosyalı Holding’s exports amounted $450 million and is expected to exceed $500 million for the full year, according to a report in the Turkish daily Dunya. Tosyalı exports 30 percent of its production.
Fuat Tosyalı stated that he expects 2018 to be better compared to 2017, while the company will continue focusing on value-added products which will replace imports. Increasing its R&D efforts, by 2020 Tosyalı Holding aims to be one of the top 20 steel companies in the world and to increase its workforce to 10,000 from 6,000.
