TMK to supply pipes for Turkmenistan-China pipeline

The Russian pipemaker TMK has announced that it has signed a contract with Russian engineering and construction company PJSC Stroytransgaz to supply large diameter pipes for the Malay-Bagtiyarlik pipeline project in Turkmenistan.

During June-September of the current year , TMK is to supply Stroytransgaz with 28,000 mt of 1,420 mm diameter, 18 meter long, K60 (X70) pipes with 15.7 mm wall thickness and with external anti-corrosive coating.

The pipes are intended for the Turkmen part of the Turkmenistan-China gas pipeline, which is 188 km long.
