Russia-based TMK, one of the world's leading oil and gas steel pipe producers, has announced that it has signed a long-term contract with Russian electrode producer ENERGOPROM Group for the supply of graphite electrodes for electric arc furnaces for the period 2018-2022.

The contract will provide an average of about 40 percent of TMK's annual demand for graphite electrodes. Deliveries will be made from ENERGOPROM’s Novocherkassk Electrode Plant.

Alexander Shiryaev, TMK’s CEO, stated that, in relations with supplier companies, TMK supports the search for mutually beneficial solutions to strengthen strategic cooperation and to minimize the negative effects of market volatility and risks in supply chains, adding that the contract with ENERGOPROM is the next step in this direction.
