TISCO considers expanding its tube unit

The Tubes SBU (Special Business Unit) of Indian steel producer Tata Iron and Steel Corp (TISCO) has recently held a meeting to commemorate the fiftieth year of Indian tube-making. According to statement made by TISCO after the meeting, the company plans to modernize and expand the tube mill with the purpose of introducing the mill to target markets. Tube unit of TISCO is the largest tube producer in India, with an annual capacity of 200'000 tons.
