Tianjin Steel adjusts prices

SteelOrbis Shanghai Tianjin Steel hiked its medium plate ex-factory prices by RMB 100/mt ($12) May 20. For Q235B common carbon medium plates, the ex-factory price of 6 mm thick products increased to RMB 4,320/mt ($539); 8 mm to RMB 4,300/mt ($536); 10 mm to RMB 4,020/mt ($501); 12 mm to RMB 3,890/mt ($485); 14 mm to RMB 3,820/mt ($476); 16-20 mm to RMB 3,800/mt ($474) and 22 mm to RMB 3,820/mt ($476). The above-mentioned prices exclude taxes and are effective from May 20, 2006.
