Tianjin Steel adjusts ex-factory prices

SteelOrbis Shanghai On June 6, Tianjin Steel hiked its overall medium plate ex-factory prices by RMB 100/mt compared with the latest adjustment on May 31. Prices of low alloy plates increased by RMB 120/mt. The ex-factory price of 6 mm Q235B common carbon medium plate increased to RMB 4,680/mt, that of 8 mm to RMB 4,560/mt, that of 10 mm to RMB 4,400/mt, that of 12 mm to RMB 4,270/mt, that of 14 mm to RMB 4,200/mt, that of 16-20 mm to RMB 4,180/mt, that of 22 mm to RMB 4,200/mt. The prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of June 6, 2006.
