ThyssenKrupp issues record financial results for Q3

The German steelmaker ThyssenKrupp has announced its highest-ever quarterly profit of €1.219 million in the third quarter of the 2006/2007 fiscal year, citing the favorable market environment and the company's good strategic planning.

In addition, during the period in question the company's sales rose 11 percent to €13.4 billion, its order intake increased 25 percent to €15.6 billion and its EBITDA improved from €1.290 million recorded in the Q3 of the 2005/2006 fiscal year to €1.728 million.
