Following the adoption of Mexican energy reform, the Public Relations Manager of Tenaris Tamsa, Luis Gerardo Hernández said that the multinational company is ready to provide the necessary tubing for deepwater exploration firms.

"We have the great advantage that, for over 10 years, Tenaris Tamsa has developed deepwater pipelines for global oil companies," said Cárdenas.

In that vein, he added: "We look forward to other collaborations, as we already produce for companies that partner with Pemex to extract shale oil and gas or regular gas from deepwater."

He concluded that the company’s products are "more than proven, even in very complex projects and productions. We have over 10 years with these products developed through our technology center."
