Tata targets to increase annual steel capacity

Indian steelmaker Tata Steel Ltd. aims to more than double its annual steel producing capacity in India over the next four years. This goal is consistent with the company's previously target of boosting its annual capacity to 25-30 million metric tons by 2015. Tata Steel said that the company would be able to reach the goal as it builds two new plants in India with total capacity of 6 million metric tons.
