Chinese steelmaker Hebei Iron and Steel Group has stated that in January this year its subsidiary Tangshan Iron and Steel Group (Tangsteel) received an order for 70 mt of its newly-developed HC340LA cold rolled (CR)
automotive grade steel sheet from Baoding City, Hebei Province-based auto parts company Baoding Best Automobile Spare Parts Co., a subsidiary of major Chinese car manufacturer Great Wall Motor Co. The products received a good response after testing and, accordingly, Baoding Best Auto Parts has decided to order a further 750 mt of HC340LA CR sheet from Tangsteel in February.
