Taiyuan Steel achieves its axle shaft steel output target for 2011

Shanxi Province-based Chinese steel producer Taiyuan Iron and Steel Group (Taiyuan Steel) has announced that it has achieved 112.6 percent of annual planned axle shaft steel production up to date, consisting 92 percent domestic market share.

Taiyuan Steel states that it has developed car axle shaft steel for high-speed passenger train production in line with the development of national high-speed railway, meeting all the requirement of European standards. Its export volume of axle shaft steel has exceeded 7,000 mt.
