Swedish crude steel output down 2.5 percent in May from April

In May this year, Swedish crude steel production amounted to 411,300 metric tons, increasing by 1.7 percent year on year and down 2.5 percent as compared to April, according to the latest data released by the Swedish Steel Producers' Association (Jernkontoret).

Meanwhile, in the first five months of the current year, Swedish crude steel production totaled 2.02 million mt, with an increase of six percent year on year.
