Sweden’s SSAB to provide fossil-free steel to France’s Alstom

Swedish specialty steel producer SSAB will supply its fossil-free steel to France-based Alstom which specializes in rail transport.

Accordingly, the first delivery will be completed within this year and SSAB’s environmentally friendly steel under its SSAB Zero brand will be used in Alstom’s new locomotives, contributing to the latter’s aim to reduce its emissions by 30 percent by 2030.
