Spain-based Sarralle has announced that it has commissioned a new 65-ton ladle furnace at India-based steelmaker ESL Steel Limited, owned by Indian mining company Vedanta Limited.

According to its statement, the company also provided a fume extraction system, a material handling system and electric & automation systems.

As SteelOrbis reported earlier, in 2018 Vedanta Limited entered the Indian steel sector acquiring Electrosteel Steel Limited through the bankruptcy resolution process, renaming the 3 million mt per year capacity steel mill ESL Steel Limited.
