South Africa-based Richards Bay Coal Terminal (RBCT), one of the world's largest coal handling ports, has announced that it exported 6.5 million mt of coal in November, up 16.8 percent from 5.56 million mt in October and up 3.7 percent year on year.
Coal exports from the terminal in the first 11 months of the year amounted to 61.5 million mt, increasing by 7.1 percent compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. Stocks at the terminal stood at 3.72 million mt at the end of November.
