SMS Demag commissions dust collection system at JSW Steel

German plantmaker SMS Demag has announced the suc¬cessfully commissioning of the secondary dust collection system at Jindal South West Steel Ltd (JSW Steel), the fully integrated steel plant of India's Jindal Group, for its BOF Steel¬works No. 1.

The new dust collection system has an extraction capacity of 1.6 million cubic meters per hour.

Currently, SMS Demag is erecting a second oxygen steelworks, with continuous slab casters, for JSW Steel.
