Sidor on strike due to disagreement with mill management

The workers have stopped work for a few hours at Venezuela's Sidor plant for the third time in the last three weeks due to disagreement on wage calculations with mill management. The Labor Minister of Venezuela has been arbitrating the discussions between the union and management of the plant. The union threatens the mill management to keep strike actions going unless the dispute is solved. The workers had gone on strike for 23 days at Sidor plant last year, protesting the negotiations on contracts.
