Shougang Steel to complete relocation of all employees by end of 2010

The relocation of all company employees to Chinese steel producer Shougang Steel Group's new facilities in the Caofeidian coastal district near Beijing is expected to be completed by the end of the current year, Shougang chairman Zhu Jimin has revealed.

Shougang Steel has been faced with the big issue of resettling more than 60,000 employees since the company began its relocation scheme. By the end of 2009, the company had relocated over 40,000 of its employees. Thus, the company is seeking to relocate its remaining 22,000 employees by the end of the current year.
