Shougang Jingtang’s BF No. 1 posts world’s largest daily BF output

Caofeidian-based Chinese steelmaker Shougang Jingtang has announced that its super-large blast furnace No. 1 reached a daily output of more than 13,000 mt of molten iron during trial production, constituting the world's highest daily output from a blast furnace. The 5,500 m3 capacity of the blast furnace in question is the fifth largest in the world.
