On February 7, Beijing-based Chinese steel producer Shougang Group announced that in January this year its subsidiary Shougang Cold Rolled Sheet Co., Ltd produced 180,800 mt of cold rolled products, 10,800 mt higher the production target for the given month.
In particularly, in January the company produced 104,000 mt of cold rolled sheet for the automotive sector, accounting for 57.5 percent of its total output in the month and constituting a new historical monthly record.
