Shenhua Group’s coal sales rise by nearly six percent in April

On May 13, China's Shenhua Group Corporation Limited published its operations report for April this year. Accordingly, the commercial coal output of the company was 17.3 million mt, down 1.1 percent, its overall coal sales volume was 23.3 million mt, up 5.9 percent, including a coal sales export volume of 0.6 million mt, down 14.3 percent. Electricity generated by the company reached 11.82 billion kWh, up 62.4 percent, and its sales volume of electricity was 11.04 billion kWh, up 63.3 percent. All comparisons are on year-on-year basis.
