According to the new price adjustment of Laiyang Iron and Steel Co., Ltd, the September steel prices of the company are as follows:
1. Price of HRC has been lowered by RMB250/mt ($37/mt). Thus, the ex-works price of Q235B HRC of 5.75*1250mm*c size is now at RMB5150/mt ($754/mt), while Q345 5.75*1250mm*c HRC is now pricing at RMB5360/mt ($785/mt) ex-works.
2. H-section price has been declined by RMB300-500/mt ($44-73/mt). With the adjustment, Q235 H-section with the thickness of 298*149mm will be offered at RMB5050/mt ($739/mt), while Q235 H-section with the thickness of 588*300mm will be quoted at RMB5880/mt ($860/mt), with Q345 H-section pricing at the prices RMB260/mt ($38/mt) higher than that of Q235 H-section.
3. Rebar price has dropped by RMB270/mt ($40/mt). Ex-mill price of HRB335 rebars of 16mm-25mm diameters is now RMB4880/mt ($714/mt).
All the above prices include 17%VAT, effective from September 1, 2008.
