S. Korea’s thick plate output down

South Korea's thick plate output fell 9.3 percent year on year to 488'000 metric tons in October 2005. For the January-October 2005 period, the production amounted to 4.75 million metric tons, an increase of 2.5 percent from a year earlier. Meanwhile, South Korea's thick plate exports dropped 25.1 percent year on year to 51'000 metric tons in October.
