Ryerson Tull completes takeover of J&F Steel

North America's leading distributor and processor of metals Ryerson Tull announced today that it has completed the acquisition of J&F Steel from Arbed Americas LLC, a subsidiary of Arcelor. As reported by SteelOrbis back in July, the deal regarding the takeover of J&F Steel was concluded at $55.3 million in cash payment between Ryerson Tull and Arcelor. Ryerson Tull officials stated that through this acquisition the company will expand its customer base and reduce costs.
