Russia's stainless steel exports down 65.3 percent in Jan-Sept

Russian exports of stainless steel products in the January-September period of this year decreased by 65.3 percent year on year to 6,927 mt, according to Russia-based SpetsStal Association.

In particular, in the given period exports of stainless billets decreased by 94.3 percent to 682 mt, exports of flat products of stainless steel decreased by 32 percent to 1,476 mt, ERW stainless steel pipe exports went down by 68.9 percent to 1,321 mt, and exports of long stainless steel products decreased by 21.4 percent to 3,353 mt, all on year-on-year basis.

Russia's exports of seamless stainless pipes increased by 4.7 percent year on year to 1,321 mt in the January-September period of this year.
