Russia’s ferrous metal exports up 3.2 percent in January-November

Russia's ferrous metal exports in January-November period last year increased by 3.2 percent year on year to 39.32 million mt, according to the Russian Federal Customs Service.
 
In particular, in the given period Russia's pig iron exports increased by 1.2 percent to 593,000 mt, while semi-finished steel exports rose by 4.1 percent to 13.71 million mt, both compared to the same period of 2015. 
 
Meanwhile, the value of Russia's ferrous metal exports in the same period decreased by 10.2 percent year on year to $12.62 billion.
