Russia’s Ashinskiy sees 2.3 percent rise in steel output in Q1

Russian steel producer Ashinskiy Metallurgical Works (Ashinskiy) has announced that in the first quarter of the current year it registered a 2.3 percent increase year on year in its steel output to 185,377 mt, including 182,739 mt of slabs.

In the January-March period, Ashinskiy produced 165,231 mt of rolled steel products, up 8.2 percent compared to the same period of last year.
