Russia’s Ashinskiy completes thermal cutting unit installation

Russian steel producer Ashinskiy Metallurgical Works (Ashinskiy) has announced the completion of the installation of one of its two thermal cutting units "Kometa-M", to be used for cutting plates which are produced at the plant's flat rolling shop No.1.

The new thermal cutting unit is completely automated, and will allow Ashinskiy to cut necessary sizes of flats and billets for mechanical service shop and for the production of steel structures.
