Russian scrap exports up 20 percent in Jan-Feb

In the January-February period this year, Russia's steel scrap exports increased by 20 percent year on year to 600,000 mt, according to the State Statistics Committee of Russia (Russtat). In February alone, Russia exported 289,000 mt of scrap, up 5.6 percent compared to February 2013.
