Russian scrap exports by rail down 21 percent in Jan-Sept

In the January-September period of the current year, Russia exported 1.07 million mt of scrap by railway, down 21 percent compared to the same period of last year, as reported by Russian Railways. In September alone, Russia exported 155,200 mt of scrap by railway, down 15 percent compared to September 2011.
