Russian scrap exports decline in January-March

In March of the current year, Russia exported 321,300 mt of scrap, down 1.3 percent compared to March 2011 but increasing by 10.3 percent compared to February this year, according to the country's customs statistics.

In the January-March period of the current year, Russian exports of scrap decreased by 3.8 percent year on year to 941,800 mt, including 386,000 mt to Turkey, 194,200 mt to Belarus and 106,800 mt to South Korea.
