Russian scrap exports decline by six percent in January-June

In June of the current year, Russia exported 514,500 mt of scrap, down 4.3 percent compared to June 2011 but increasing by 14.6 percent compared to May this year, according to the country's customs statistics.

In the January-June period of the current year, Russian exports of scrap decreased by six percent year on year to 2.35 million mt, and included 928,600 mt to Turkey, 597,600 mt to Belarus and 216,000 mt to South Korea.
