Russian coal exports continue to rise
According to statistical data, Russian export of coal rose 10.5 percent year on year to 28.4 million tons in the first four months of 2006. The export deliveries of coal rose mainly due to the increase in deliveries to West and East Europe. The export deliveries of Russian coal to these regions rose 21.1 percent during the given period.
