Russia raises steel exports to US in H1
The US Department of Commerce (DOC) stated that Russia increased steel exports to the country 97.3 percent year on year to 1.61 million metric tons, amounting to $733.51 million, in the first half of 2006. In June, Russia exported to the US 154,530 metric tons of steel, which is expected to reach 441,750 metric tons level in July of 2006.
