Rourkela Steel reports strong output results

Steel Authority of India Limited's unit Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) recorded strong production figures for May 2006. Accordingly, company's hot metal production rose 53 percent to 187,035 metric tons, crude steel production increased 52.6 percent to 175,990 metric tons and saleable steel production rose 52.4 percent to 169,650 metric tons.
