In January this year, real estate sales in Turkey amounted to 112,173 units, falling by 47.2 percent month on month and rising by 39.7 percent year on year, according to the data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
In the given month, sales were focused mostly on Istanbul, with 18,912 real estate units sold.
