In January this year, total real estate sales in Turkey amounted to 111,480 units, dropping by 58.0 percent month on month and by 4.7 percent year on year, according to the data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
In the given month, sales were focused mostly on Istanbul, with 20,412 real estate units sold, followed by Ankara with 10,207 units.
