Finnish steelmaker Rautaruukki has announced the receipt of an order worth about €1 million from Belrusinvest for the design and supply of 9,000 square meters of steel structures for its logistics complex and administration quarters in Minsk, Belarus.

The warehousing complex will be used to satisfy Belrusinvest's own needs, and will also be rented to companies that need warehousing facilities in the city of Minsk.

The logistics building is scheduled to be completed in 2009.

In October 2008, Rautaruukki expanded its sales network by opening a sales office in Belarus, to allow the company to improve its customer service and to provide potential for new partnerships.
