Puyang Steel releases new ex-factory plate prices

On January 19, Hebei Province-based Puyang Steel announced its ex-factory prices for medium plate. The details are as follows;

The price of common carbon plate has gone up RMB 150/mt ($22/mt), and so Q235A 16-25 mm material now costs RMB 4,000/mt ($586).

Low alloy plate has increased in price by RMB 150/mt ($22/mt). After the adjustment, the price of Q345 16-25 mm stands at RMB 4,200/mt ($615/mt).

The producer's price of shipbuilding plate has not changed, and so the price of CCSB 16-25 mm material remains at RMB 4,000/mt ($586/mt).

The above prices include taxes (17 percent VAT) and are effective as of January 19.
