Preliminary results of AD review on silicon metal from Brazil

On July 31, 1991, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) imposed an antidumping duty on silicon metal imports from Brazil. Upon requests from petitioner Globe Metallurgical and respondent Camargo Correa Metais S.A (CCM), the DOC, on August 30, 2004, initiated an administrative review for the subject duty on silicon metal from Brazil. The period of review is July 1, 2003, through June 30, 2004. The DOC preliminarily determined that CCM did not sell subject merchandise in the US at less than normal value (NV) during the period of review. The following weighted-average dumping margin exists for the period July 1, 2003, through June 30, 2004:

Manufacturer/exporter Margin

CCM.......................................0.00%
Interested parties are requested to comment on the preliminary results.
