POSCO Tongsteel Steel Processing commissioned in Jilin, China

The authorities in China's Jilin Province have announced the commissioning of local steel processing company POSCO Tongsteel Steel Processing Co.
 
The joint venture company was established on September 2 last year by South Korea-based steelmaker POSCO and Chinese steel producer Tonghua Iron and Steel Group. It is located in Huinan Economic Development Zone in Jilin Province.
 
The company will annually be able to process 80,000 mt of hot rolled steel sheets, 60,000 mt of cold rolled steel coils and 60,000 mt of cold rolled steel sheets, with a total processing capacity of 200,000 mt per year.
