Peruvian iron ore output up 3.5 percent in January-November

Iron ore production at Peru’s only producer, Shougang Hierro Peru, was up by 66.4 percent year on year in November last year, according to data issued by the country’s mines and energy ministry.
 
Shougang produced 697,108 mt of the commodity in November, up from 418,793 mt in the same month of 2015.
 
In the first eleven months of last year, Peruvian iron ore output totaled 7.08 million mt, increasing by 3.5 percent year on year.
