Pangang Group sees crude steel output of 5.4139 million mt in Jan-July

Sichuan Province-based Chinese steelmaker Pangang Group has announced that in the January-July period of the current year it recorded a pig iron output of 5.6501 million mt, crude steel output of 5.4139 million mt, fine vanadium slag production of 199,400 mt, and a titanium ore concentrate output of 308,900 mt.

Pangang Group stated that its production of titanium products and vanadium-titanium-magnetite ore and its generation of its own power have contributed greatly to its profits amid the substantial decline in steel prices. Accordingly, the company has focused on increasing its output and sales volume of titanium products and vanadium-titanium-magnetite ore.
