NLMK to increase slab exports in September

Russian steelmaker NLMK has stated that in September this year it plans to increase its slab exports by 16 percent month on month, to 570,000 mt.
 
In total, NLMK plans to produce 987,000 mt of steel products in September, up five percent compared to August.
 
In the January-August period of the current year, NLMK produced 8.1 million mt of crude steel, up 29 percent compared to the same period of last year, and 7.6 million mt of steel products, up 33 percent year on year.
