NLMK offers to buy minority stake in SGOK

The Russian steel producer Novolipetsk Steel (NLMK) has announced commencement of a mandatory offer to purchase the outstanding shares in Stoilensky GOK (SGOK) at the price of Ruble 24,471.12 ($1, 042) per purchased share.

NLMK is to prepare the list of minority shareholders on April 28, 2008. The payments to minority shareholders will be effected within 25 days of the April 28, 2008.
