NBS: China’s crude steel output up 1.9 percent in January-November

In November this year, China's crude steel output amounted to 63.30 million mt, down 0.2 percent year on year, as announced by China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on December 12. During the given month, the average daily crude steel output in China came to 2.11 million mt, down 3.13 percent month on month.

In the January-November period of the current year, crude steel output in China amounted to 748.67 million mt, up 1.9 percent year on year, with this growth rate 0.2 percentage points lower than that recorded in the January-October period.

In November, China's pig iron output amounted to 53.23 million mt, up 0.9 percent year on year, while the pig iron output amounted to 654.11 million mt in the January-November period, up 0.4 percent year on year.

In November, China's finished steel output totaled 92.05 million mt, up 1.2 percent year on year, while the finished steel output in the January-November period amounted to 1.02658 billion mt, up 4.5 percent year on year.
